Kimi Ryokan – A Favorite for Families in Tokyo

The completely non-smoking Kimi Ryokan provides a Cypress-wood public bath that guests can reserve for private use between 4 PM and 11 PM. A free-use internet station and a common area with a satellite flat-screen TV are available on the ground floor. A refrigerator, microwave, and coin-operated launderette are accessible for guest use throughout the stay.

Guest rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon beds, with shoji paper screens and air conditioning. Baths, showers, and toilets are shared on each floor. A yukata robe and towels are provided for each guest, and the rooms are designed to be quiet despite the lively neighbourhood.

A traditional Japanese bath (ofuro) made of hinoki cypress wood can be reserved for one private session per day between 4 PM and 11 PM. The hot soak is a popular option after a day of walking in the city. Showers in the ofuro area are separate and kept clean by staff.
